Voting in the 2022 local government elections is compulsory.

There are 13007 people eligible to vote for Sorell Council, an increase from 11 393 in 2018.

In 2018 there were just 9 candidates for 9 Sorell Council positions so we were all elected. This year there are 19 candidates. Voters must number at least 1 to 5 for a valid vote but can number all 19.

Ballot packs arrive in the post between Monday 3 and Friday 7 October, and votes must be completed and returned in the reply paid envelope or at Sorell Council by 2pm 25 October.
